Purpose: The purpose of the study was to explore the dimension matter in society support influence of college student judo athletes in Taiwan. It was in accordance with coping effect models of society support discussion. Methods: A qualitative research was used in this study. The form of in-depth interviews and observation was utilized to collect data by the researchers. An in-depth interview was conducted with five black belt and five white belt level competitors. The content analysis was also used for further investigation. Results: This study the result answer to five function theory of society support influence. They are as follows: Need for athletic therapist; financial incentives; improved equipment; self-awareness; coach shows care and affirmation; family support; competition pressure; teammate and coach inter dependency; judo association rule book; teammate, friend, best friend in team encouragement. Conclusion: The research conclusion is similar to the society support five function theory. Finally, this study will let coaches; family and teammates understand what support service judo athletes exactly need.
