大型活動志工參與動機之研究－以2010台北國際花卉博覽會志工經驗為例

摘要

論文提要內容：
本研究旨在探討志工參與2010台北國際花卉博覽會的參與動機，了解不同年齡層花博志工的參與動機差異，及探討花博志工參與的特殊性。
本研究以2010台北國際花卉博覽會為研究地點，採用深度訪談法探討志工參與花博的動機和經驗。研究發現志工在參與花博時的參與動機並非完全以利他性為參與花博的動機，而是出現一些以休閒與互動交友、或是希望兼有志工/觀眾角色並容類型的參與動機。而不同年齡層的志工參與大型活動的動機，本研究也發現有相差異，青年志工傾向自我成長型，中年志工傾向接觸人群型，老年志工則是以休閒取向為主。
大型活動的舉辦也幫助台灣走出國際舞台，志工們在參與花博時因長時間參與，在花博的服務經驗也使他們對花博產生特殊的情感，最後凝聚志工們對花博的認同感，這樣大型活動的經驗使得志工們體驗了有別於其他活動的志工經驗，如慈濟經驗等，並提升志工和國民對於台灣的光榮感。未來台灣預期將會舉辦更多的大型活動，大型活動的舉辦和非利他性志工參與會成為台灣志工參與的未來新趨勢。

Abstract：
This research aims at exploring participate motivation of volunteers in Taipei International Flower Expo in 2010 and different motivations in every age of volunteers. On the other hand, this paper tries to discover the different types of participating experiences of volunteers.
This research took Taipei International Flower Expo in 2010 as case study. It conducted interviews with 16 volunteers in Flower Expo. The result shows that motivation of volunteers for mega events was mainly not their altruistic attitude, but lying on making friend and self-empowerment. It could be expected that Taiwan will hold more and more mega-events in the coming years. Therefore, the non-altruistic type of volunteers might be gaining more influence in the future.
