聽障者參與休閒活動之質化研究

摘要


台灣地區在近年來由於經濟的起飛,人民逐漸開始注重到休閒的重要。而原本以安置、教養為主的特殊教育,也開始注重到特殊學生的休閒活動。聽障者是全國第二大身心障礙族群,因其看起來四肢健全,所以一般人認為「聽障者所需的休閒活動應該與常人無異」這觀點並不完全正確。國內對休閒活動的研究不少,但是針對聽障者休閒活動的探討卻極為稀有。筆者任教於國立台南啟聰學校,在教學過程中發現到學生對於休閒活動並不熱衷,此外2009年,台北市承辦世界聽覺障礙奧林匹克運動會,筆者希望利用這個機會,對於聽障者的休閒活動來做研究,期望能讓社會大眾重視聽障者的休閒活動。並將研究結果提供給政府。 本研究主要是採用文獻分析法,針對國內外探討聽障者參與休閒活動的文獻作歸納分析,並且利用訪談法,實際訪談聽障者,以期能了解其個人因素(性別、年齡、聽障程度、溝通能力經濟能力以及健康狀況)以及環境因素(家人休閒支持、同儕休閒支持、休閒場所選擇以及政府政策)對於從事休閒活動所產生的的影響。本研究結論如下: 1.聽障者在室內喜歡從事看電視以及上網這兩項休閒活動,而在室外喜歡從事打籃球這項休閒活動。 2.性別、年齡、聽障程度、溝通能力、經濟能力、健康狀況這幾項個人因素並非是影響聽障者的休閒活動的主要因素。 3.家人休閒支持、休閒場所選擇以及政府政策這幾項環境因素並非是影響聽障者的休閒活動的主要因素。而朋友同儕因素會是影響聽障者的休閒活動的重要因素。

In recent years, the importance of leisure activities has been gradually emphasized in Taiwan area because of Taiwan economy rise, and the special education which chiefly focused on settlement and re-education in the past has begun to realize the true value of leisure, and educate this concept to the disabilities.Hearing-impaired is the second largest disability group in the world, but people normally think they could have the same leisure activities as the ordinary people because of their healthy limbs. This viewpoint is not entirely correct. There are many domestic researches regarding the normal leisure activities, but rare of them emphasizing in the hearing-impaired people’s leisure activities. The writer is the thecher of the National Tainan School for the Hearing Impaired, In the teaching process, the writer discovered the student does not like to do leisure activities. Besides Taipei City holding 2009 Deaflympics, The writer hope uses this opportunity to do the research oh the hearing-impaired people’s leisure activities, wish everybody can value hearing-impaired people’s leisure activities. And supply the research results to the government.The conclusion is as follows: 1.Hearing-impaired people like indoor activities like watching TV, internet surfing , and outdoor activities like playing basketball. 2.These personal factors, gender, age, hearing-impaired level, communicating ability, economical capacity and healthy condition are just little effect to hearing-impaired people, which coincident to relating researches. 3.These environmental factors,family support, leisure place choice and government policy, are little effect to hearing-impaired people, coincident to relating researches.But peer Factor is influential factors to hearing-impaired leisure activities.
