台灣中小企業產業變遷之研究

摘要


兩岸大交流的開啟以及中國經濟的磁吸效應,造成許多台灣上中下游廠商紛紛移往中國,而留守在台灣的中小企業因不敵外在的經濟環境劇烈變化與競爭壓力,正面臨進退維谷的處境。中小企業如何貫徹永續經營的理念與目標,又如何安然度過險惡環境的考驗,其經營策略的選擇顯得格外重要。本研究的焦點將主要集中在經營策略的探討,而論述的鋪陳將涉及下列幾大部分的探討:(一)台灣中小企業的發展歷程與特色。(二)台灣中小企業經營者面對環境變遷的挑戰。(三)台灣中小企業經營者的回應策略。本研究採個案研究、文獻分析、半結構的深入訪談的方式蒐集相關資料。由研究結果得知,台灣的產業要能繼續經營下去,取決於經營者的經營策略,唯有因應市場擬定出一套經營的策略,才能使企業更具有競爭力,達到企業永續發展之目標。

The grand opening-up of cross-strait exchanges and the magnet effect of China's economy have caused many Taiwanese manufacturers to move their factories to China. Those which stay in Taiwan are in a dilemma facing dramatic changes of the external economic environment and fiercely competitive pressures. The basic concerns of this thesis are: How do Small and Medium Enterprises survive the difficult environment, make choices, and implement their business strategies? This study will be focused on the following parts: (a) The development of SMEs in Taiwan history and their characteristics. (b) The challenges that Taiwanese SMEs face in the changing environment. (c) The strategies of Taiwanese SMEs in responding the challenges. This study will be conducted by case studies, covering literature analysis and in-depth interviews. The study shows that Taiwan's SMEs may continue their operations only with their business strategies, which make the enterprises more competitive and sustainable.
