本研究目的是藉由Levy(1990)的概念並綜合文獻中學者特別重視的設計教育之能力,歸納並整合出設計教育競爭力八個指標,以探討國內大專院校設計教育之競爭優勢。本研究採用「德惠法」,並以五個分段計劃執行,專家學者來自大專院校設計相關科系主任或所長、全台灣14個設計社團代表及實際從事設計工作者及設計業界代表並兼任大專院校教職者。結果顯示未來大專學校設計教育課程規劃具有競爭力指標呈現最高前三項依序為「跨領域交流與整合」、「創新能力」及「國際化」。整體專家學者針對八大指標所整理出的各項目幾乎都達到共識。本研究期待藉由專家學者對設計教育的共識與整合,建議相關當局應正視各項指標分析結果,以作為指引及提升未來大專院校設計教育競爭力的努力方向。
The purpose of the study is applying the concepts of Levy (1990) and connect the abilities of design education specially stressed by scholars from literaiure reviews, finally summarized and proposed the 8 indications to explore the competitive advantage of university design education in Taiwan. This study were proceeded by using Delphi technique, with 5 phases to execute. Sources for experts came from department head, representatives from 14 design societies in Taiwan, and representatives from design industry with practical experiences, and also they had involved with teaching in the university. The results showed that the 3 highest rank about future competitive capabilities for planning the university courses are (a) cooperation and integration of different fields, (b) creativity, and (c) internationalization. The panel of experts already had mutual agreement about nearly every contents of 8 indications. By integrating experts' mutual agreement, we recommended that relative agencies should put eye on every significant results, as the future guidance for enhancing the ways of competitive advantages of university design education.
