摘要

此次研究以關心氣候變遷、全球暖化之議題為出發，將服裝與建築環境作連結。作者假定人們的生活環境會因為地球暖化導致的海平面上升，建築被大海淹沒、覆蓋，成為人類生活的一部分；當建築與海洋並存時，人類必需適應生存與改變生活的居住空間，建造出部分沉入海中及漂浮在海上的未來建築。以未來「建築」與「海洋」作為創意元素，將建築物的結構、外觀與海洋連結設計；主要利用布料演練與服裝設計，表現出未來世界，人們所居住的建築物與海洋共生的感覺。藉系列設計表現，讓人們了解地球未來將會面臨到的困難，使人們能更加珍惜現有的環境資源，並以永續發展為所重視的觀念。

Starting from the issues of climate change and global warming, this design study intends to associate clothing design with the images of ocean architecture in the future. The authors imagine that peoples' home lands and the built environments would be submerged and covered by ocean because of the rising of sea level, which is caused by global warming. The change of living environment and unstable horizon may impact human beings' everyday lives. In addition, the paper assume that human beings need to adapt to these changes of their living spaces by means of setting up future buildings through sinking in and floating on the sea in order to co-exist with oceans. The design project mainly utilises images of ocean architecture in the future as design elements, as well as connecting textures and appearances of future architecture with the images of rising sea level. The designers apply practices of fabric materials and cloth design to express various images of the future world, which shows the symbiotic feeling that associate buildings with the ocean. By this way, the design collection exposes the difficulties that human beings need to face in the future. Through this design study, the authors appeal to people for cherishing the existing environmental resources and valuing the concept of sustainability.
