A Case of Posner-Schlossman Syndrome Unusually Manifested as Acute Angle Closure Glaucoma

摘要

We report the case of a patient with bilateral Posner-Schlossman syndrome (PSS) which converted to bilateral acute angle closure glaucoma (AACG) after treatment with acetazolamide. Oral acetazolamide is a popular intraocular pressure (IOP)-lowering agent; however, the idiosyncratic reactions of acetazolamide may become the etiology of AACG. An awareness of the causative agents is important, as the outcome is generally reversible if recognized early and if acetazolamide is discontinued.
