本研究目的在了解補救教學志工的教學困境與成長需求。以都會區某國小106學年度18名補救教學志工為對象,安排補救教學專題講座並進行補救教學現場觀察與座談,透過觀察、文件分析、座談以及問卷蒐集相關資訊。本研究結果顯示,補救教學志工的教學困境包括:(1)每位志工補救教學的對象從一位到四位學生不等,受輔學生的學習需求不同,志工難以有效兼顧;(2)志工多以口語說明來協助學生學習;(3)志工對於學生的低學習動機感到困擾;(4)受限於時間,志工無法全面參與補救教學成長活動。補救教學志工的成長需求,依序為:學習動機的激發、與學生晤談技巧、教具的運用。針對研究發現,本研究提出實施志工補救教學之學校行政運作建議,包括:(1)考量學生程度,安排個別或分組指導;(2)提升志工與學生晤談的技巧;(3)提供教具以輔助學生學習;(4)提供較大的學習空間,以利採用多樣的教學活動;(5)安排系統化的專業成長課程;(6)建立補救教學支持系統等。
The purpose of this study was to find out the teaching dilemmas and the needs of professional growth for the remedial instruction volunteers. The 18 subjects who volunteered to enroll the remedial teaching program of 2017 academic year in metropolitan area, were arranged to take part in the remedial teaching lectures and site observations as well. This study method was conducted by observation, document analysis, forum and questionnaires from remedial instruction volunteers. The research findings as follows: On the aspect of teaching dilemmas: (1) it is difficult for volunteers to effectively guide students simultaneously because each volunteer had to teach 1 to 4 students with diverse learning needs; (2) volunteers often provided oral guidance without using any teaching aids; (3) most volunteers felt worried about students' low learning motivation; (4) owing to personal schedule, volunteers cannot fully participate in remedial teaching growth activities; on the aspect of professional growth needs of volunteers, strength of needs in order: (1) the ability to inspire students' learning motivation; (2) the ability to interview with students; (3) the ability to make use of teaching aids. According to research findings, some suggestions for school administration are: (1) considering the learning characteristics of students, to arrange individual or group guidance; (2) to improve the interview skill of volunteers; (3) to provide teaching aids to assist students in learning; (4) to offer a larger learning spaces for various teaching activities; (5) to implement systematic professional growth courses for volunteers; (6) to establish support system for remedial instruction.
