Bicycle Tourism Development Analysis in Taiwan

摘要

背景：運動觀光是結合運動與休閒的特色旅遊。近年來，由於臺灣政府和自行車業的大力提倡，逐漸帶動起自行車休閒運動風潮。目的：分析目前臺灣自行車運動觀光發展架構，以探討未來趨勢。方法：本研究以文獻回顧法對運動觀光進行分類，並依循其結果分析臺灣自行車運動觀光發展之內涵。結果：一、臺灣目前以主動性自行車運動觀光為主，其中又以休閒活動佔最大宗，而自行車移地訓練與自行車競技比賽為次之。二、被動性之觀賞自行車賽事與參觀自行車運動景點較為缺乏。建議：由於政府對於自行車道之硬體設施趨於完善，而對於自行車道軟體設施之建構較為缺乏，故建議未來，可針對主動性自行車運動觀光之休閒活動進行更深入的探討，並加入軟體設施之相關自行車旅遊規劃，連結被動性參觀自行車運動景點。

Background: The sport tourism is combined with sport and recreation. In recent years, the government and bicycle industry promote the recreational bicycling. Purpose: The research analyzes the context of bicycle tourism development. Methods: The research applied literature review to classify the sport tourism in Taiwan. Results: 1. The recreational bicycling is the major activity in Taiwan, followed by bicycling training and athletic competition. 2. The opportunity of watching the cycling event and visiting the bicycling sites are not enough. Suggestions: For the future study, the study suggest the bikeway should be linked with bicycle tourist planning to increase quality of bicycle tourism.
