睡眠與生理、心理健康息息相關,隨著睡眠研究領域的進步,更輕巧、輕量化的配戴式睡眠監測裝置是設計上的一個趨勢。居家環境是最適合進行睡眠監測的場所,許多研究便是期望建立適合居家環境下使用的睡眠監測系統。為了不影響睡眠的進行,許多學者更致力於非察覺性睡眠監測系統的設計,藉此取代實驗室陌生的環境以及大量不舒適的訊號線。 本計劃之目的,即在設計一套睡眠品質監測與評估系統,以”非察覺性”與”外掛式”為設計的主要考量。使用者不需改變原先睡眠環境與非察覺性的前提下,進行睡眠生理監測與睡眠品質評估。 各式非察覺性生理感測裝置所收集的生理訊號,經由生理判斷晶片進行A/D轉換與生理特徵的判別(身體活動、體溫、呼吸、打鼾),經由智慧型睡眠評估系統處理後可以瞭解受試者的睡眠歷程,作為客觀睡眠品質指標的依據。 系統與網路連結後,遠端子女可藉由網路即時關懷家中父母的睡眠品質。
This paper presents a “SLEEP GUARDIAN” system to measure physiological parameters in sleep without restraint to the tester. The purpose of this project is to devise a non-conscious, automatic, sleep monitoring and evaluating system, which is suitable in the sleep environment at home. The SLEEP GUARDIAN system consists of a body temperature monitoring device, a respiration monitoring device, a body movement sensing device, and a snore sensing device. Physiological signals detected by sensors, for example body movement, respiration, snore, and body temperature, are then integrated to evaluate the user’s quality of sleep. The SLEEP GUARDIAN system is designed as “add-on” devices to user’s sleeping environment. The system is also linked to the internet for children and care-givers to observe the sleep quality of the elder.
