The purpose of this study is to test the ”involvement” of Social Control Theory in the explanation juvenile delinquency in Taiwan. Sample of the study consisted of 10,191 senior high school students from Taiwan Education Panel Survey (TEPS). The nested regression technique was used to analyze the data. In this study, ”involvement” was divided by three different types: school, family, and other traditional activities. The study attempted to find out the relationships between adolescents involving in those traditional activities and delinquency. Findings of research indicated that three kinds of school, one kinds of family, and four kinds of other traditional activities were related to the occurrence of delinquency.
