速生樹種木材纖維性質與製漿試驗(II)-泡桐、木油桐及柳杉

摘要


本研究之目的在探討國內固有及引進成功之速生樹種木材纖維之基本性質與製漿投銜。包括柳杉、木油桐及泡桐,製漿方法採用硫酸鹽法及中性亞硫酸鹽半化學法兩種。試驗內容有纖維觀測、木材化學組成分析、樹皮比率及木材比重測定、製漿漂自試驗及紙張物理強度試驗。試驗結果顯示,二種闊葉樹材由於纖維寬度較大,因而長寬比較低。除泡桐所含之醇苯抽出物及木油桐所含之灰分較高外,其他化學組成與一般闊葉樹相似。其製漿不難,漂自容易,紙漿強度不錯,特別是木油桐力學性質甚優,但由於二者比重都很低,因而設單獨用做紙漿材之機會不大。柳杉之纖維長度低於一般針葉樹,化學組成則與針葉樹相似,由於收率低,漂自不屬,故不適製造漂白化學紙漿,但因其紙漿撕力甚佳,故可用於工業用紙之製造。三樹種之枝條不僅收率低,紙漿品質也較差。

The purpose of this study is to investigate fiber and pulping characteristics of wood from native and exotic fast-growing tree species in Taiwan. The species selected for this experiment include two hardwood species-Paulownia taiwania, Aleurites montana. and one softwood species-Cryptomeria japonica. Both of the trunk wood and branch wood of the species were evaluated. Fiber morphology, chemical compositions, wood densities, bark percentages, multi-stage bleaching and pulp physical properties were investigated in this experiment. The results are summarized as follows: 1. Cryptomeria has a shorter length as compared with other local softwoods. fiber diameter, this is why they ratio. 2. Due to low density, likely to be used in the pulp mills alone, but pulps from Aleurites have higher yields and better properties. 3. Because to make bleached chemical pulps, but it can, be used for making unbleached kraft papers. These two kinds of hardwoos can be used to make semi-chemical pulps. 4. Pulping trunks can get higher pulp yield and better properties than branches.
