Studies on the Production Management in Wooden Furniture Industry. The Enhancement of Factory Productivity by Time Study

摘要

近年來，台灣木質家具工業發展迅速，大部份工廠缺乏科學管理及設定標準工時，本研究以工作抽查法探討非生產性作業比率及其原因並設定寬放率，以馬錶測時設定標準工時作為生產線機器配置及平衡並可供其他多種用途。首先，通過工作抽查，發現非生產性作業比率甚高，運用「群組技術」及一貫作業方式，重新配置機器，使生產線平衡，結果作業員非生產性作業比率立即明顯減少10 %。

In Taiwan, wooden furniture industry has developed rapidly in recent years, most of them lack scientific production management and have not established the standard time.The main purpose of this study was to enhance the productivity of furniture factory through Time study and through work-sampling, it has been found out that the percentage of non-working time of labor was 45%.Through stop-watch time study. Setting up the standard time, then, design new layout by Group Technology and work-sampling, the average percentage of non-working time of labor has been improved to minus 10%.
