聚乙二醇塗佈處理對新聞紙白度安定性之改善

摘要


本研究之目的在探討聚乙二醇塗佈處理對含機械紙漿新聞紙白度安定性之改善效應。試驗結果顯示:聚乙二醇塗佈處理對新聞紙具提高白度安定性之效果;不同分子量的聚乙二醇對白度安定性之改善效果以分子量1000者較佳,聚乙醇塗佈量在7.5g/坪方公尺時有較佳之改善效應。而塗佈後的加熱處理則有增進聚乙二醇效果的作用。

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of polyethylene glycol (PEG) coating on the enhancement of brightness stability of newsprint paper. The results show that PEG coating can enhance the brightness stability of newsprint. The comparison among PEG with different molecular weights suggests that the coating with PEG-1000 (molecular weight: 1000) has led to the most superior bright stability. The optimal coating weight of PEG is 7.5g/m^2. Heating treatment after PEG coating can further improve the brightness stability.
