不同樹種木粉和精油對香菇菌生長之影響

Effects of Wood Powders and Essential Oils from Different Tree Species on the Growth of Lentinula edodes

摘要


本研究比較楓香、陰香、銀合歡段木精油含量及精油成分之差異;另外,評估3種樹種木粉和精油對香菇菌生長之影響。試驗結果顯示,陰香段木精油的含量比其它二種段木高。楓香和銀合歡段木精油的主要成分均以Cedrol(17.57%和19.16%)為主;而陰香段木精油的主要成分則以10-epi-γ-Eudesmol(18.31%)為主。此外,由不同樹種的木粉和精油對香菇菌生長影響評估之結果顯示,楓香和陰香木粉對香菇菌的生長具有促進效果,木粉添加量愈多,菌絲生長愈快;另外,也發現楓香段木精油使用濃度在25μg/mL以下,對香菇菌之生長亦具有促進效果。綜合以上結果得知,楓香木粉和低濃度精油具有促進香菇菌生長之成分,未來可作為段木香菇生長之營養劑,創造菇類產業與林業共同發展的良好契機。

In this study, we compared the essential oil contents and compositions of Liquidambar formosana, Cinnamomum burmannii and Leucaena leucocephala wood. We also evaluated the effects of wood powders and essential oils from three tree species on the growth of Lentinula edodes. The results revealed that C. burmanii had a higher essential oil content than the other two species of wood. The main component of the essential oils of both L. formosana and L. leucocephala was cedrol (17.57% and 19.16%), while 10-epi-γ-eudesmol (18.31%) was the main component of the essential oil of C. burmannii. Regarding the effects of wood powders and essential oils from different tree species on the growth of L. edodes, the results showed that L. formosana and C. burmannii wood powders had an enhanced effect on the growth of L. edodes, and the mycelial growth rate increased with increasing wood powder concentration. Moreover, we found that the wood essential oil of L. formosana, at concentrations below 25 μg/mL, also enhanced the growth of L. edodes. Based on these results, we conclude that L. formosana wood powder and low-concentration essential oil contain ingredients that promote the growth of L. edodes.
