傳統的實體博物館賦予文化藏品的蒐集、保存、展示與研究等功能,然而由於資訊科技的進步及網際網路的發達,博物館可藉由網站的建立加強休聞、教育、傳播與互動等功能。全球知名的博物館皆設置其網站,世界知名的博物館因詮釋不同的博物館經營宗旨,其博物館網站所扮演的角色亦有所不同。過去文獻指出國外的博物館網站視博物館網站為博物館之一部分,因此延伸實體博物館提供的服務,協助實體博物館不足或無法提供的功能與實體博物館的經營為同等重要的地位,故國外博物館網站功能系統發展十分完備。 本研究整合過去的研究以內容、外觀設計、互動、可使用性、技術等五項屬性發展評鑑博物館網站,觀察研究臺灣前五大博物館網站之系統功能。本研究結果發現臺灣公立的博物館網站雖為國家型的博物館網站,但博物館的經營方向致力於與社區事務做緊密的連結,此類型網站的系統功能較不注重使用者的互動需求、娛樂需求與教習/教育需求,本研究將此類型網站稱之為「社區型的博物館網站」,不同於國外「活化型博物館網站」。本研究建議:1.臺灣國立博物館網站應加強運用互動社交媒體與博物館成員互動;2.應加強網頁設計的主題性和整體性的風格;3.進一步發展博物館網站館校雙方資源結合與交流,例如由博物館做公正第三方,進行學程成效監督與評量、由館校合作方面進行相關的研究調查等,以發揮博物館、學校與教育學程結合的綜效。
The functions of trenditional museums are collections, preservation, exhibitions, and research. However, with advances in technology and the Internet developed, the museum can be established through the site to enhance recreation, education, communication and interactive functions. World-renowned museums are setting their sites, because the different business purposes, the roles of the museum site must also be different. Previous studies pointed out that foreign museums to their website as part of the museum, so they use their web sites to extension their service. In the study, it takes content, design, interactive, usability, technology of museum web sites as the standards of the museum site. Using these criteria, it observes web sites system functions of the top five museums in Taiwan. The study found that the development of Taiwan 's museum web sites focus on linking with the community, this type of sites don't emphasis on the user's interaction needs, entertainment needs and teaching learning / educational needs . In this study, this type of website called "community-based museum website ", different from other "activated museum website". This study suggests: 1. web sites of Taiwan nation al museum should be more inter active with social media and museum members; 2. should enhance the theme of web design and overall style; 3. should increase more academic exchange with schools.
