後龍地區銀葉粉蝨發生與防治技術之探討
Investigation on Occurrence and Techniques of Urgent Control of Silverleaf Whitefly, Bemisia argentifollii on Cauliflower in Houlung Area

The experiment was aimed to evaluate the effect of urgent control on silverleaf whitefly, Bemisia argentifollii from spreading. The silverleaf whitefly mainly damaged on cauliflower, kohlrab and cabbage. Urgent control of silverleaf whitefly by application 2.8 % Bifenthrin E. C., using yellow sticky card and combined of both were tested on cauliflower in Houlung area. A significant decrease of 80 % in silverleaf whitefly damage was obtained in field after assessment of urgent control. The highest net profit ratio of 281 per hectare was obtained from the treatment by application 2.8 % Bifenthrin E. C. in combination with yellow sticky card.
