Laryngeal Neurofibroma: A Case Report
摘要
喉部神經纖維瘤極為少見，病人會因為發音、吞嚥或呼吸方的異常來就診而偶然被發現，診斷須經組織切片而藉病理檢查加以證實。本院耳鼻喉科於民國72年10月中旬經歷一單發性喉部神經纖維瘤病例，經病理確定診斷後經側咽切開術將腫瘤切除。術後情況非常良好，一年後追踪檢查亦無復發現象。

Neurofibroma of the larynx, a very rare benign tumor, has been reported occasionally either as isolated tumor or as a part of multiple neurofibromatosis. The symptoms are similar to other benign laryngeal tumors. Diagnostic methods include roentgenogtram of the neck, direct of indirect laryngoscopy and pathology. Such a benign lesion can be cured by surgical intervention. An endolaryngeal approach with direct laryngoscope or an extralaryngeal approach by using lateral thyrotomy or lateral pharyngotomy is the choice. We present a case of laryngeal neurofibroma in a 17-year-old girl with a history of foreign body sensation in the throat, swallowing disturbance, mild respiratory difficulty and muffled voice for 4 years. No systemic evidence of neurofibromatosis was noted. After using the lateral pharyngotomy approach, a 4×3×2cm tumor was located on the laryngeal surface of the epiglottis. The tumor was completely removed without difficulty and confirmed as neurofibroma by pathology. There is no recurrence after 1 year follow-up.
