Myofibroblastoma of the Breast: A Case Report
乳房的肌纖維母細胞瘤：－病例報告
摘要
從一位六十七歲男性的乳房切下一個腫瘤。它的外觀是一個界線清楚但是沒有被膜的腫塊。組織學上，它的組成是雙極的梭狀細胞成束狀排列，中間夾雜有不等殘的膠原纖維。細胞本身沒有明顯的差異，沒有絲分裂。腫瘤的界線，是屬於推開型。腫瘤內並沒有看到上皮細胞。免疫組織化學研究顯示腫瘤細胞對vimentin，desmin和smooth muscle actin有反應，但是對S-100蛋白和keratin沒有反應。電鏡檢查則發現細胞的分化介於纖維母細胞和平滑肌細胞之間。

A tumor in the breast of a 67-year-old male was resected. It was grossly circum-scribed and unencapsulated. Histologically, it was composed of plump and long bipolar, spindle cells arranged in fascicular clusters with intervening broad collagen bands. The cells lacked pleomorphism, and no mitotic figures were found. The margin was that of pushing border type. No epithelial component was seen in the tumor. Immunohistochemically, the tumor cells expressed variable reactivity to vimentin, desmin and smooth muscle actin and were negative for S-100 protein and keratin. Electron microscopy showed cell differentiation between fibroblast and smooth muscle cells.
