精神分裂病：現代精神醫學發展之觀念與改變
摘要
精神分裂病是本世紀被廣泛探討與研究主題之一，由於其早發之特性以及慢性與惡化之病程，常被視為最蹂躪之精神病。本論文回顧精神分裂病觀念之改變，從傳統克貝林所提供之「早發性痴呆」理論至目前分子生物醫學的研究發現與假說。由其病因仍未十分明確，以至於治療上的突破十分有限。雖然如此，「生物-心理-社會」多層次之治療模式仍被採用，重點亦強調症狀惡化之預防以及減少因疾病而帶來之各種身心與社會功能上之障礙。

Schizophrenia is perhaps the most devastating mental illness that psychiatrists must treat. Its chronic course with deteriorating consequences has been the focus of fundamental Kraepelinian theory of “dementia praecox” to biological correlates and explanation. Its treatment modality. A “bio-psycho-social” model of care is emphasized, aiming at the prevention of deterioration of symptoms, functional impairment, disability and social handicap.
