The change of society, the rapid developments of technology and information and the high demand of health care consumers are challenging the professional ability of nurses. There is a trend that the reflection is adopted in health care professional training program since reflection is an important tool to integrate knowledge and practice. In practice, reflection strengthens the ability of handling complicated cases, diagnosing patients and providing health care. The purpose of this paper is to introduce what the reflection implies and the procedures and techniques of learning reflection and how to apply reflection to clinical setting. Refective learning helps the teaching strategy of training program in clinical setting and enhances the ability of the nurses in providing professional health care.
