多國學生之日文作文交流研究分析

An Analysis on the Experiences with www.sakubun.org from Students of Japan, Taiwan, and Australia

摘要


外語學習模式隨著網際網路發達,交流互動需求,教育共同圈的概念日益落實,本文介紹「作文.org」(http://www.sakubun.org)多國交換日文作文網站,包含提筆寫作、閱讀賞析、互相回應之學習過程,並以Grounded Theory Approch(簡稱GTA)質性分析法,分析了台灣、澳洲、日本大學生參加之意識變化,發現:1.「語言能力」不同並未造成「作文交流」障礙;2.日文為母語者與外語學習者之間共同反應的初步概念是「異文化體驗」「母文化自覺」「友誼」「改變寫作觀念」「感謝」等,可進一步提煉出「收穫」與「變化」的共同焦距;3.背景不同者的反應則呈現出台灣學生「母文化自覺」的喜悅,澳洲學生著重在挑戰「閱讀」「寫作」上,日本學生「開闊視野」反應是參與此活動獲得的契機。 此網站的建立透過教師們連手合作的課程設計,提供了另一種新的「習作學習」模式。

The article introduces the online writing program of www.sakubun.org with which students from the globe can log on and gain accesses to the learning process of writing, reading, sharing, and many interactive activities for language acquisition. In addition, the article adopts the theory of Ground Theory Approach to adopt a qualitative approach to better understand students' changes and feedbacks from participating such an online program. In specific, our project surveys the feedbacks from students from Japan, Taiwan and Australia who have participated the program. Our preliminary results reveal that 1) students' first language background doesn't create obstacles for writing exchanges; 2) Japanese speakers share the similar ideas with students from Taiwan and Australia in their initiative reactions to other cultures and how that has impacted on their native culture. That is, these reactions and reflections on self/other cultures have helped them broaden their ideas of friendship, build up a sense of appreciation and gain a sense of accomplishment. Lastly, in terms of different learning experiences, Japanese students tend to emphasize on how the program have broaden their horizons, Taiwanese students focus on the joy of self awakening from seeing their culture with a fresh perspective while the Australian students appreciate the challenges from other cultures and how that helps strengthen their reading and writing abilities. We further suggest that these preliminary results can help build more sensible curricula for international exchanges and for a different learning project.
