Plasma Insulin Concentration in Response to Glucose Given by Different Routes

血漿胰島素濃度對葡萄糖由不同途徑灌注之反應

摘要


本研究用臺灣猴作實驗,使適應於猴椅,自由飲食。先用手術將四條軟管分別植入十二指腸、上腔靜脉、下腔靜脉及門靜脉管腔內,俟動物完全恢復後方從事實驗。實驗前停食16小時,但飲水不加限制。實驗時分別由十二指腸,門靜脉及上腔靜脉導管在1小時內灌注20%葡萄糖溶液18毫升,並由下腔靜脉取血,測定血漿中胰島素濃度及血糖變化情形,結果顯示經上述處理動物之血漿胰島素濃度改變,以由十二指腸灌注者為最高,143 μU/ml,由門靜脉與腔靜脉兩途徑灌注者次之,且後兩途徑之間無差異,約20 μU/ml。至於血糖增高情形則以腔靜脉灌注者最高,162 mg/100 ml,門靜脉次之,120 mg/100ml,而以十二指腸最低,110 mg/100 ml。本實驗結果顯示,口服葡萄糖所引起之血漿胰島素濃度增加之主要作用部位不在門脉肝臟而在胃腸道。

Physiol, 21(3): 193-204, 1973.-Plasma immunoreactive insulin responses to intraduodenal, intraportal or intra-vena-caval infusion of glucose were compared in 5 conscious Taiwan monkeys in order to assess the role of the porto-hepatic system in the control of insulin release. Intraduodenal influsion caused greater insulin release, 43μU/ml. Intraportal and intra-vena-caval infusions caused lesser release, around 18-20 μU/ml. This suggests that insulin release is principally mediated through enteric hormonal factors, a finding consistent with the traditional concept. The porto-hepatic system may not be important.
