盤克夏豬與海南島豬第一代雜種之研究

摘要

1．具有特異體型之海南島種與盤克夏種雜交所上之第一代雜種，其外型殆與盤克夏種體型相同，即背凹全部消失，變爲平直，四肢高直，腹捲略成筒形，毛皮除一二頭後肢現自色外，均呈黑色。
2．第一代雜種之乳頭，平均爲13.84±0.059，比較海南島種之14.11±0.04及盤克夏種之13.64±0.04，均無大差異。
3．發情週期日數，平均爲19.05±0.263，略等於海島腫之18.82±0.200。持續日數平均爲5.30±0.028，與海南島種之5.04±0.08，亦極近。
4．一胎產仔數，平均爲10.83±0.486，與海南島種之多產性能，幾乎相近似。
5．姙娠日數，平均爲114.47±0.439，與海南島種及盤克夏陣均無故差異。
6．生時體重，差異甚大，常在300-1150gm之間，平均體重爲694.50±10.04，較海南島種稍大，惟較盤克夏種仍小達一倍。
7．第一代雜種之發育，於哺乳期六十日中，體重可達生時體重之十倍，身長與胸圍可達2.4倍，較海南島種稍遜。離乳後至一年中，其發育量平均可達91.78kg（150壹斤），較海南島種迅速至有二個月差異。又去勢豬較不去勢豬其體重發育差異可達21.74%。
8．屠宰成績，屠宰率平均爲82.90%，比海南島種稍高，可食鄧分可佔生體重71.445%，比海南島種稍低，可食部分之學肉與脂肪，對生體重之百分比，前者爲33.74%，後者爲37.705%；較之海南島種，即淨肉量略有增加，而脂肪蓄積量略有減低。

The experimental results of the Berkshire×Hai-nan-bred F1 hybrid for the years of 1945-1950 are as follows:
(1) The general appearances of Berkshire×Hai-nan-bred F1 hybrid are more less resembled to Berkshire. The back is very smooth and fairly straight, the face is slightly dish-like, and the ears are small and erect, the colour is black, but it some times with a few white on the behind legs, and the four legs are strong and straight.
(2) The mean of teats of F1 is 13.84±0.059 it is no conspicuous differentation were found between in their parents.
(3) The mean of F1 oeastrous cycle is 19.05±0.263 and the oeastrous period is 5.30±0.028 both of they are nearly as similar as Hai-nan-bred.
(4) The mean of F1 hybrid litter size is 10.83±0.486 it is about same of Hai-nan-bred.
(5) The mean of F1 gestation period is 114.47±0.439 there is no significance between Berkshire and Hai-nan-bred.
(6) The F1 birth weight is among 300-1150gm. The mean is 694.5±10.04, and it is a slightly larger than Hai-nan-bred; but only one half of Berkshire.
(7) The average growth rate of body weight of F1 from farrowing to weaning (60 day) is nearly 11 times, and the body length and heart girth is nearly 24 times. From weaning to one year the average weight is 91.78kg, and it is required less two months than Hai-nan-bred.
(8) The average of F1 dressing percentage is 82.9%, and it is higher than Hai-nan-bred. The edible parts of carcass is 71.44%, and it is slightly lighter than Hai-nan-bred. The carcass contained 33.44% of net lean meat, and 37.75% lard. (soft perk)
