Ammonium Sulphate Induced Stress Related Changes in the Epidermis of the Live Fish Heteropneusts Fossilis(Bloch)

In this study,we examine the changes of the hematological parameters of grey mullet(Mugil cephalus),milk fish(Chanos chanos),red snapper(Lutijanus argentimaculatus),andblack porgy(Acanthopagrus schlegeli)after anesthetization by using 2-phenoxyethanol.Theresults show that the 2-phenoxyethanol can significantly increase the values of hematocritof red snapper,hemoglobin of grey mullet,and osmolarity of black porgy.Furthermore,the specific sensitivity of the species to 2-phenoxyethanol also really exists,and differentspecies would demonstrate a few different physiological changes during anesthesia.
