Two Species of Siphonostomatoid Copepods Parasitic on Pelagic Fishes of Taiwan
寄生在台灣產海洋表層魚類的兩種管口目橈足類
摘要
本報告描述兩種屬於管口目的寄生橈足類，它們分別是屬於Caligidae科的Caligus bonito Wilson，1950和屬於Euryphoridae科的Euryphorus nordmanni Milne-Edwards，1840。前者是寄生在採自大溪漁港（位於台灣東北海岸）的齒鰆【Sarda orientalis (Temminck & Schlegel)】，而後者是寄生在採自東石漁港（位於台灣中部西海岸）的鬼頭刀(Coryphaena hippurus Linnaeus)。文中除了討論台灣發現的C．bonito，在兩次不同的採集地與寄生魚種所採到的蟲體形態差異外，也對E．nordmanni的雌雄成虫及未成熟雌虫加以描述。

Two species of siphonostomatoid copepods belonging, respectively, to Caligidae and Euryphoridae are reported. They are: Caligus bonito Wilson, 1905 from striped bonito, Sarda orientalis (Temminck et Schelegel), landed at Dah-Hsi Fishing Port (on the northeast coast of Taiwan) and Euryphorus nordmanni Milne-Edwards, 1840 from the common dolfinfish, Coryphaena hippurus Linnaeus, landed at Dong-Shih Fishing Port (on the central west coast of Taiwan). Some morphological differences of C. bonito found from two different occasions in Taiwan are discussed. A juvenile female of E. nordmanni is described in addition to the mature adults of both sexes.
