The Last Instar of Male Euryphorus Milne Edwards, 1840 (Copepoda: Euryphoridae) Found on Marine Fishes of Taiwan
在台灣海水魚上的廣動魚虱屬（橈足亞綱：廣動魚虱科）終齡期雄幼蟲
摘要
在台灣的烏魴及鮪魚上，採集到Euryphorus nordmanni Milne Edwards，1840與E. brachypterus(Gerstaecker, 1853)兩種蟲的終齡期雄橈足幼蟲加以描述。此兩種幼蟲具有與Dysgamus Steenstrup & Lütken，1861屬（此屬已不為有效屬）相同的典型特徵。此兩種蟲的橈足幼蟲期之間的形態差異，在顎肢(maxilliped)的體部(corpus)上的刺、第二對腳內肢外緣上的飾物、以及於第一對腳的基節間板後方的胸板上，有否具第二胸叉的雛體。在我們對此兩種廣動魚虱屬的幼生期研究結果，發現沒有附著絲期，此與Caligus屬及Lepeophtheirus屬不同。

The last male copepodid of Euryphorus nordmanni Milne Edwards, 1840 and E. brachypterus (Gerstaecker, 1853) collected from the pomfret and tuna off Taiwan are described. They bear the typical characteristic found in Dysgamus Steenstrup & Lütken, 1861 which is no longer a valid taxon. The morphological differences between the copepodid of these two species are seen in the armature on the corpus of the maxilliped, ornamentation on the outer edge of the endopod of leg 2, and presence or absence of the precursor of the secondary furca on the sternum posterior to the intercoxal plate of leg 1. Our study on these larvae indicates that species of Euryphorus, unlike those of Caligus and Lepeophtheirus, do not have chalimus stage in their larval development.
