新北市國小教師環境認知、態度與行為意向之關係

The Relationship among Environmental Awareness, Attitudes and Behavioral Intentions of the Elementary School Teachers in New Taipei City

摘要


The main purpose of this paper is to investigate New Taipei City elementary school teachers' environmental awareness, attitudes and behavioral intentions, and to explore the effects of a series of demographic variables on the teachers' environmental awareness, attitudes and behavioral intentions. Questionnaire survey and stratified sampling were used in this study. There were 400 valid questionnaires and the overall respond rate was 74.77%. The results show that elementary school teachers perform quite well in the environmental awareness, tend to mostly positive attitude, and keep high intention of behavior. Besides, these teachers' environmental awareness, as well as their attitude, exist significant differences in gender, age, position, education (p<.05). Their behavioral intentions exists significant differences in education, and participation in environmental activities (p<.05). Finally, there is positive correlation between awareness and behavioral intentions (p<.05), as well as between attitudes and behavioral intentions (p<.05); but there is no correlation between the teachers' environmental awareness and attitude (p>.05).
