中鋼連續鑄造的品質改善成效

摘要

為製造高級棒鋼、線材所需之高品質大鋼胚，中國鋼鐵公司高雄廠不斷的發展連續鑄造技術，這些連鑄技術的發展包括機械上冷却鋼模的設計，二次冷却區噴水模式式的改良，分配器的改造，盛鋼桶與分配器及分配器與銅模間的絕氣系统，以及冶金上鑄造的控制，過熱度的控制及澆鑄粉的選擇與管制。而品質上的問題迄今已大部份獲得完善之改進。今後在發展自動化的連續鑄造技術以及無缺陷鑄胚直接熱進爐作業上的突破，則是中鋼連鑄上進一步努力的目標。

Technology in continuous casting is being continuously developed for the production of high quality blooms for bar and rod products at China Steel Corportion's Kaohsiung Works. These developments include mold design; spray pattern in the secondary cooling zone; tundish with dam; shrouding between ladle, tundish, and mold; casting speed control, superheat control. and powder selection contol. Most of the quality problems have been solved. Nevertheless, we still have to make more efforts in developing new continuous casting technology in the near future.
