台南盆地中生界油氣潛能研究與應用

Studies on Hydrocarbon Potential of Mesozoic Formations in the Tainan Basin, Southwestern Offshore Taiwan

摘要


綜合地質、地物及地化資料對台南盆地白堊系的油氣潛能進行評估,研究結果顯示本區域白堊系具有理想的裂縫油氣儲集層,封堵作用優異的區域性蓋層,多種類型的儲油封閉,多種油氣移棲管道及理想時空配置的成油組合,可儲聚產自中新統至侏羅系生油岩之油氣,應具有雄厚的油氣蘊藏潛能。為加強本區域之油氣探勘開發,本研究根據整合解釋將台南盆地劃分為北部凹陷、中央隆起帶及南部凹陷三大構造單元,在中央隆起帶上的白堊系有多個具油氣潛能之封閉值得鑽探,其中兩個已經鑽獲大量油氣,此發現不但証實台灣西南海域白堊系的油氣蘊藏豐富,並為台灣海陸中生代緻密砂岩的探勘開闢一新領域。

Geological, geophysical and geochemical studies were integrated to evaluate the hydrocarbon potential for the Cretaceous formations in the Tainan Basin. It is concluded that fractured reservoirs, regional sealing of cap rocks, various types of traps and source rocks are available for the hydrocarbon accumulation in the Cretaceous formation. Therefore the Mesozoic formations should be of highly potential for hydrocarbon exploration. Three structural units, namely, Northern Depression Zone, Central Uplifted Zone and Southern Depression Zone, were defined in this basin. Numerous potential prospects have been located in the Central Uplifted Zone. Abundant gas with condensate was discovered in two of these prospects. This result not only confirms the hydrocarbon potential of the Cretaceous formations in the Tainan Basin, but also shows a new concept of hydrocarbon exploration the tight Mesozoic formations in offshore and onshore Taiwan.
