A Study on Geophysical Prospecting for Gold Potential Area in Suan-Hsi, Taipei Hsien

摘要

台北縣雙溪鄉燦光寮地區毗鄰金瓜石產金區，根據既有之地質、地化及地物探勘資料，咸認可能有潛伏石英安山岩體存在，並且伴生金礦床之可能性甚大。因此筆者等選擇本區進行地球物理探勘，期能有所發現，以增加該區金礦蘊藏量，促進金瓜石礦山再開發之潛能。本文將調查結果列示並參考過去資料加以綜合研討。本次檢討區域函蓋樹梅礦體南伸地區、燦光寮、牡丹溪及石筍溪一帶。探勘結果共發現異常帶三處：燦光寮異常可能由潛伏石英安山岩體所產生，且可能有礦化帶存在；十三層異常帶可能由小規模潛伏石英安山岩體所形成；另於樹梅西南側呈現高重力異常帶，其形成原因尚未確認，有待進一步之研討。

Tasnkuangliao area at Suan-Hsi Hsiang, Taipei Hsien is in the vicinity of Chingkuashih gold deposit. Based upon the previous data resulting from geological survey incorporated with geochemical and geophysical prospecting, it is believed that a potential volcanic dacite body with some extent of gold-bearing mineralization is in exitence at Tsankuangliao area. Therefore, In expectant of the increasing minable gold reserves for a further exploitation of Chingkuashih dposits, an advanced geophysical prospecting has been selected and carried out in this area. This study gives an integrated explanation on the areas covering the south of Hsumei, Tsankuangliao, Mutanhsi and Shihsunhsi. Totally, three geophysical anomalies are discovered: A potential dacite body beneath Tsankuangliao anomaly is found which may be occurred as a gold mineralization; Shihsantsen anomaly may be dervied from a small dacite body; Whereas an uncertain origin and occurrence of gravimetric anomaly at southwest of Shumei is also found.
