鑄粉與鋼胚品質關係之研究

The Influence of Casting Powders on the Quality of Slab in Continuous Casting

摘要


直向裂及夾渣是扁鋼胚兩種主要缺陷,本文旨在探討鑄粉性質對鑄胚品質之影響,並進一步利用水模之模擬實驗及銅模之溫度偵測來研究鑄胚缺陷發生時機與模內操作狀態變化之關係。根據澆鑄之結果發現,鑄粉之性質會影響到模內凝殼之熱傳量,並進而影響鋼胚直向裂的發生率。又經由銅模測溫的方式,佐以鑄胚之檢驗結果,更發現對於直向裂發生之時機而言,鑄粉僅是一個巨觀之因素。而決定裂縫生成之因素,主要在於模內凝殼所受到的熱傳是否均勻。另外,從本研究在水模實驗之觀察可清楚的了解夾渣發生機構,並與實際缺陷發生之趨勢一致。

This paper is devoted to investigate the influence of casting powders on the occurrence of slab defects, including longitudinal crack and scum entrapment which are two major kinds of slab defects. Furthermore, the relationship between the occurrence of slab defects and the variation of the mold operation conditions has been studied by monitoring of the mold temperature and the experiment of physical model. The heat flux of the shell in the mold is affected by the powder properties, and consequently the longitudinal crack of slabs will occur according to the casting results. However, the powder is found to be only the macro factor for the occurrence of longitudinal crack through the mold temperature monitoring in association with the slab detected results. The major factor dominating the crack occurrence is the uniformity of the heat transfer of the shell in the mold. In addition, the mechanism of the scum entrapment can be elucidated by the experiment of the physical model, and it quite agrees with the trend of the practical defect occurrence.
