連鑄鋁薄片製程技術的開發與應用

Development and Application of Continuous Casting Process Technology for Aluminum Thin Strip

摘要


中鋼鋁業公司於87年完成鋁片鑄軋機的裝設,此設備將熔融鋁湯直接鑄造輥軋成薄鋁片,具有省略熱軋、縮短製程、節省能源與降低成本等優點。試車過程遭遇啟鑄凍結、剖面不佳、表面孔洞與退火粗晶等問題,設備供應商無法提供解決方案。本研究分別建構鑄軋輥撓曲理論、澆嘴熱流場模擬分析技術、修改啟鑄程序、脫模劑噴塗與鑄軋參數,克服鑄軋產線的運轉瓶頸,兼具改善鋁片品質。另配合材質的分析,調整冶金製程條件,消除退火粗晶,改善產品的成型性能,並建立生產高鎂鋁合金的量產技術,使得此簡化製程的鑄軋鋁片,得以應用於高品級的產品領域。

Twin-roll casters were installed in China Steel Aluminium Corporation in 1998. Hot rolling process can therefore be eliminated because molten aluminum is directly cast and rolled into thin strip through the caster. Its merits include simplification of manufacturing process and reduction of production cost. Nevertheless, freezing, profile defects, surface voids and coarse grains were encountered during commissioning. The problems remained unresolved regardless of efforts from the caster supplier. Modifications of casting procedures and parameters were made on the basis of roll deflection and tip design. Bottlenecks of the casters disappeared subsequently through the application of the present improvement. Besides, microstructure was systematically evaluated. Fine annealed grains with deep drawing quality were successfully achieved. Aluminum alloys with high Mg content was also successfully produced. The high-grade aluminum products meeting critical property requirement can therefore be made through this simplified process.
