Pre-sintering in vacuum was used to enhance the densification of sintered 0.07PMnN-0.468PZ-0.462PT ceramics in this study. This pre-sintering process was to heat the samples from room temperature to 800°C under 10^(-2) torr vacuum condition. When temperature reaches 800°C, air with ambient pressure is conducted into the chamber, in the mean time, the samples were continuously heated to 1050°C for various holding periods. In the case of holding 1 hour, best combination piezoelectric properties of this ceramics were obtained, where Qm and k_p was 2050 and 0.613 respectively. Comparing with conventional sintering process, this pre-sintering process can lower sintering temperature up to 150°C without deteriorating piezoelectric properties of these ceramics.
