In-Situ Growth of Y-Ba-Cu-0 High-Tc Superconducting Thin Films by Pulsed Laser Deposition Method

We have grown successfully the as-deposited Y-Ba-Cu-0 high-Tc superconducting thin films on SrTiO3 substrates by pulse laser deposition method. The emphasis is on the comparison of this technique by using Xenon laser operating at 535 nm made by ourselves and a frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser operating at 532 nm. The characterization of this process and possible optimization with regard to substrate temperature and oxygen ambience are discussed.
