卵磷脂合成之前趨質Methionine、Choline對大白鼠血漿和肝脂質的影響

Effect of Methionine and Choline, the Precursors of Lecithin on Plasma and Liver Lipids in Rats

摘要


攝取大量魚油或其他較不飽和的油常會引起嚴重的脂肪堆積在肝中的現象,而卵磷質和其他磷脂質被發現可減緩這種現象。本實驗旨在探討大白鼠在高魚油與高膽固醇飲食條件下,若給予Methionine或Choline,是否能達到與直接給予卵磷質來改善大白鼠高血脂及脂肪肝現象的效果相近?30隻Wistar大白鼠被逢機任意分配到6個不同之飼料組中,各飼料中含有Methionine, Choline或磷脂質作為欲探討之因數,動物共飼養8周。實驗結果顯示,在高魚油、高膽固醇飼料中若添加Methionine或同時添加Methionine與Choline時,均可明顯降低大白鼠血漿及肝臟中總脂質、三酸甘油醋的濃度,此效果與單獨添加卵磷質近似。結果亦顯示,在飼料中添加了卵磷脂或其合成因數,在8周內均沒影響到血清膽固醇之濃度,但添加有Choline或卵磷脂時,可降低肝臟中之膽固醇。

Ingestion of large quantity of fish oil and other highly unsaturated oils has been shown to cause abnormal lipid accumulation in liver, while phospholpipids, including lecithin, ameliorated this phenomenon. Methionine is essential for the synthesis of choline, the basic component of lecithin. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of methionine and choline supplement in diet on plasma and liver lipids. Thirty male 5 weeks old Wistar rats were randomly divided into 5 groups and were fed the fish oil basal diet supplemented with methionine, choline and/or lecithin for 8 weeks. Relative to the controls, animals fed the diet supplemented with either methionine or methionine plus choline had significantly lower levels of total lipids and triacylglycerol in plasma and livers. These results were similar to the effects of adding lecithin alone in the same basal diet. Supplementation with lecithin, methionine, or methionine plus choline also significantly reduced the levels of cholesterol in liver, but not in plasma.
