In order to do his duty well, a librarian has to understand the characteristics and services of a library. Then he is able to face people from all works of life, help them extend the horizon of their knowledge and satisfy their needs. Thus, the function of a library-giving information and supporting academic studies-can be fully developed. This will contribute to the peace of a society and the progress of a country. That is THE WORK ETHICS of a librarian.
