網路科技不斷推陳出新，甚至於漸漸取代了圖書館的部分功能，這對現代圖書館有什麼啟示？處於數位時代下的傳統圖書館又該如何演進與變化，以迎合讀者的真正需求？為了研究分析數位圖書館的服務趨勢，本文將針對目前各種網路服務加以比較，藉此找出圖書館應該透過網路提供什麼樣的服務。
