This article is to discuss the revolutionary changes of Web 2.0 application software systems that influenced the trend of software development in public libraries. The concept of Web 2.0 emphases individual differences of customer services requirements, including the capacity of contents self-authoring by users and intelligent search. Public libraries should introduce into concepts of Web 2.0 as soon as possible, so that they will be able to improve current information service models effectively towards the Library 2.0 era in the future.
