A Rare Cause of Unilateral Nasal Obstruction: Pleomorphic Adenoma of the Nasal Septum

並列摘要

We reported a 22-year-old male who developed progressive right-sided nasal obstruction over 1 year and occasional epistaxis for 3 months due to a tumor in the right nasal cavity. Physical examination showed a firm, pink and vascular-appearing mass completely filling the right nasal cavity. Computed tomography revealed a soft-tissue density lesion over right nasal cavity pushing the nasal septum to left. The tumor was completely removed through a facial degloving approach. The origin of the tumor was found to be the nasal septum. Pathological examination revealed a picture of pleomorphic adenoma. The clinical presentations, diagnosis and treatment are reviewed and discussed.
