The purpose of this study is to evaluate the visitors' response to two kinds of interpretation activities at the Tatachia visitor center, Yushan national park-multi-image interpretation and indoor exhibits. By comparing the visitors' attention to the presentation, their retention of information, cognition of the national park and attitude change, we can evaluate the effectiveness of different interpretation media. The result showed that 66% of the visitors had accepted interpretation service at visitor center. Their retention of information was significantly related to the interpretation media they accepted. However, their cognition of national park and attitude changes were no significant differences.
