A Checklist of the Polypores from Liaoning Province, China

Polypores (Basidiomycota) from Liaoning Province, NE China, were investigated during 1995-2004. Based on 863 specimens collected from 11 nature reserves, forest farms, forest parks, and botanical garden or parks of Liaoning, 117 poroid Aphyllophorales were identified. A checklist of polypores, including host (s), substratum, locality and occurrence of each species is supplied. Among them, 17 species are pathogens of trees, 71 species were found on fallen trunks, and 40 species are considered as rare species.
