Jung-tyz (1928-) one of the most famous poetesses in Taiwan, constantly centers her poems around the axis of ”time”. Since she likes summer most in four seasons, she creates a heaven called ”South in July” in the summer poems. In the city poems, she shows her anxiety about existence. But she remains faithful and peaceful while trying to search for her self in the passage of time. Her nature poems reveal her insights into the causes of time. She also appreciates eternity in natural scenes. In short, Jung-tyz can see through death, so she works hard in life. She knows well that time is unstoppable and life is short. She tries to expand her concern from personal life to human lives. Then she may lead a rational life. She is really an excellent poetess who has a sharp sense of time.
