Art and Knowledge in Gadamer's Hermeneutics

摘要


本文的工作要說明在高達美詮釋學,藝術與知識的關係。這個工作分兩部份,首先說明高達美對傳統美學的批判。他提出三個論證反對傳統美學的美感意識,這個批判讓他的藝術哲學得以與知識銜接。第二部份藉著高達美對畫的現象學分析,一方面證成藝術與知識的必然關係,另方面說明這種知識的性格。最後我指出,由於藝術與知識的密切關係,高達美哲學的思考概念是藝術的。

This essay tries to elucidate the relationship between art and knowledge in Gadamer's hermeneutics. It is divided into two parts. Firstly I analyze the arguments offered by Gadamer in his critique of traditional aesthetics which leads him to the conclusion that art is knowledge. Secondly I argue for the necessary connection of art and knowledge and then show the characteristics of knowledge in Gadamer. In the conclusion I point out that the Gadamerian concept of thinking is artistic in nature.
