啟動與超越-試論作為中國現代哲學的臺灣新士林哲學

Initiation and Transcendence-On Taiwan Neo‐scholasticism as Modern Chinese Philosophy

摘要


學界對對臺灣新士林哲學一直存在著認識誤區:認為臺灣新士林哲學是中國天主教傳教策略的產物,其對中國哲學傳統的把握有失偏頗,並與中國現代哲學的主流相疏離。在我看來,臺灣。新士林哲學段動了中國傳統哲學的生命意識、引入了西方的古典理性精神與超越意識、開闢了中國現當代哲學發展的新向度,因而應當將其看作是中國現代哲學的重要流派,為正視其應有價值,應從對中國(臺灣)士林哲學的發展歷史和學術文獻進行全面系統地梳理和整理、尋求新士林哲學與中國當代其他哲學流派的對話與交流、運用新士林哲學的理論智慧創造性地應對現代問題三個向度推進臺灣新士林研究並延續其發展。

Taiwan neo-scholasticism has always been mistaken as a result of the propaganda of Chinese Catholicism which misunderstands traditional Chinese literary and deviates from the mainstream of modem Chinese philosophy. In the writer perspective, Taiwan neo-scholasticism initiated the existential meanings of traditional Chinese philosophy, introduced the rational spirit and transcendental consciousness of western philosophy and opened new frontiers for the development of contemporary Chinese philosophy. Therefore, Taiwan neo-scholasticism should be seen as an important school among modern Chinese philosophy; to see its rightful value, we should comprehensively and systematically sort out and organize the history and academic documents of Chinese (Taiwan) scholasticism, seek to create the dialogue and interflow between neo-scholasticism and other schools of contemporary Chinese philosophy and creatively address the problem with modernity through the theoretical wisdom of neo-scholasticism.
