不銹鋼還原碴含量對紅磚工程性質之影響

Engineering Properties of Bricks Made from SSRS

摘要


由於冶煉不銹鋼時,需使用生石灰、焦炭等副料,導致不銹鋼還原碴含大量的CaO與SiO2等成分。本研究係探討不銹鋼還原碴與黏土混合燒製成建築用紅磚之可行性,期能有效降低CaO之體積膨脹問題,並提供不銹鋼還原碴之更佳處理方法。研究結果顯示,以黏土添加12.5%以下還原碴粉,經800℃溫度燒結後可製成二級磚,其吸水率及抗壓強度分別為18.9%、250 kg/平方公分;以黏土添加25至50%還原碴粉,經800℃溫度燒結後可製成三級磚,其吸水率及抗壓強度分別為23%、150kg/平方公分,皆符合CNS 3319-R143規範之品質要求。

Stainless steel reducing slag (SSRS) is the by-product of stainless steel plant. SSRS containing large amount of CaO and SiO2. The combination of both SSRS and the clay by employing the fired technology can lead to not only solved the storage problem of SSRS but also is converted into building materials. From the study resulted that the amount of SSRS for brick making is 12.5% that met for second-class quality brick, the water absorption and compressive strength, 18.9% and 250 kg/cm^2, respectively. When SSRS content from 25% to 50% that met for three-class quality brick, the water absorption and compressive strength, 23% and 150 kg/cm^2, respectively. Both conform to the requirement of CNS 3319-R143.
