Stainless steel reducing slag (SSRS) is the by-product of stainless steel plant. SSRS containing large amount of CaO and SiO2. The combination of both SSRS and the clay by employing the fired technology can lead to not only solved the storage problem of SSRS but also is converted into building materials. From the study resulted that the amount of SSRS for brick making is 12.5% that met for second-class quality brick, the water absorption and compressive strength, 18.9%and 250 kg/cm%^2, respectively. When SSRS content from 25% to 50% that met for three-class quality brick, the water absorption and compressive strength, 23% and 150kg/cm^2, respectively. Both conform to the requirement of CNS 3319-R143.
