日治時期台灣地區磚造建築基礎構造之研究

摘要

本研究利用近年來曾進行調查之日治時期磚造建築基礎測繪資料，及相關法令、研究報告、專書等文獻，探討日治時期台灣地區磚造建築基礎構造。研究結果顯示，日治時期磚造建築基礎之設計、作法已有一定規則，其中部份尺寸規定仍延續西方砌體建築之經驗，而部份設計方法則隨著材料、相關理論之發展而改變，故不同時期之基礎設計與作法並不會完全相同。比較日治時期磚造建築物基礎作法與法令、文獻之規定，可發現實際基礎之重要組成部份，多數作法都符合當時之規定，部份甚至較當時法令規定及設計方法來得保守。由於這些磚造建築物基礎設計考量因素仍有部份缺失，加上年代久遠，建築物材料普遍都有劣化現象產生，因此未來若擬進行修復再利用，有關基礎部份宜提出妥善之修復方式。

In the study the foundation construction of Taiwan's brick buildings built during the Japanese colonial period are discussed, based on an analysis of building foundations, and investigation of documentary records and decrees. The results reveal that most of the design methods for brick buildings and the foundation construction suggest that had certain rules were already being implemented during the Japanese colonial period. Part of the foundation design rules incorporated western masonry design experiences, whereas other design rules evolved by the development of material and related structural theories. The foundation construction of brick buildings built in different time showed differences in techniques. The results also show that the foundation construction of Taiwan's brick buildings built during the Japanese colonial period was more conservative than the design rules. Since most structural materials in these buildings are degraded, the foundations should be repaired and retrofitted carefully before reusing old brick buildings.
