The Optical Properties of Magnetron Sputtered TiO2 Thin Films on Both Glass and Plastic Substrates

摘要


利用低溫直流磁控濺鍍二氧化鈦(TiO2)薄膜於玻璃基板及Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)塑膠基板的光學性質以及表面型態已被研究。未加離子助鍍時,兩種基板上製鍍的光學常數及表面型態差異性較大。而加離子助鍍之後,可使鍍在PET基板上的薄膜減少吸收,增加折射率,並使光學常數的差異性變小。

The optical properties and surface morphology of TiO2 thin films deposited by low temperature DC magnetron sputtering method have been investigated. The variance of optical constants and surface roughness of films between glass and PET substrates without applying ion-assisted deposition was larger than those with ion-assisted deposition. This is because of the decrease of absorption and surface roughness and the increase of refractive index wiith ion-assisted deposition.
