摘要

大豆新品系HL70-40於七十七年十月一日經命名審查小組審查通過命名為「花蓮二號」，該品系於六十六年夏作雜交；母本為大連豆，父本為和歌島，經後代分離選拔，產量比較試驗成績優良，自七十三年春作起參加全省區域試驗及地方試作，其特性為半無限型，植株呈圓錐型，葉片及葉片角度較花蓮一號小，透光率大，子粒充實期長，生產潛能較高，公頃產量平均春作2,146公斤，夏作2,821公斤，分別較原推廣品種花蓮一號增產20.3%及22.6%，適合東部地區春夏作栽培，尤其夏作更為適應，因植株主莖較花蓮一號弱，故種植時應注意氮肥施用量及栽植密度以減少倒伏。花蓮二號在花蓮地區試作期間，農民反應良好，本場將於七十八春作開始辦理示範及採種，正式推廣供農友種植。

Soybean variety Hualien No 2 was a selection from the progenies of a cross between Tar-lien-Tow and Her-Ger-Dow, its a semideterminate type with high-yield capacity, Small leaf area and leaf angle. The average yield of Hualien No. 2 in the regional and local yield trials were increased by 20.3% and 22.6% than the released cultivar Hualien No 1. in spring and summer crop, respectively. Due to its less stiffness of the stem, Hualien No 2 was slightly apt to lodging at maturity. It is suitable to be sown on early July in summer crop and the best planted density was 60 X 10-15 cm. This variety was suitable in the eastern coast of Taiwan, especially in summer crop, with high yield capacity and superior agronomic traits of this variety. The variety is expected to be expansion rapidly in Hualien area.
